Immunity Smoothie

This smoothie is perfect to boost your immune system, especially if you feel a cold coming on. Oranges, strawberries, and kiwis are packed with vitamin C. One smoothie has over 250% of the recommended daily value for vitamin C. Along with iron and B vitamins, the fiber in the rolled oats will help keep you full.

Recipe:

1 orange

1/2 cup strawberries

1 banana

2 kiwis

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 – 1/2 cup liquid of choice (non-dairy milk, coconut water, juice, etc)

  1. Freeze fruit for at least 30 minutes, blend with liquid and oats
  2. Use less liquid to make a thicker smoothie for smoothie bowl
  3. If making a smoothie bowl, add toppings (fruit, seeds, nuts, granola)
  4. Enjoy!
